Senior Product Manager -- Digital Segment Consultant

Join the team that helps shapes digital strategy and experience for consumers and businesses. Digital Segment team members consult with segment leaders and digital product managers to shape digital strategy and development road maps -- converting opportunities to improve customer experience into prioritized actions within digital. Segment consultants work with leaders in Consumer, Business, Private and Commercial Banking. They also work closely with Digital Product Managers, UX Research, UX Design and Readiness teams to ensure segment requests and desires are represented in digital road maps and development delivery plans to ensure success at launch.

Responsibilities:

  • Consult with segment and digital leaders to ensure ideas are represented in digital development road maps
  • Communicate digital road maps with segment leaders to identify short-term improvement opportunities
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to identify most prevalent longer term opportunities for improvement
  • Build and maintain segment road map
  • Catalog and prioritize digital ideas and concepts for improvement
  • Create business concept documents, business case and update digital tool in order to catalog ideas
  • Assist segment leaders in formulating a business case
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market scan of vendor capabilities
  • Consult with digital product managers to perform technical feasibility evaluation to identify cross impacted systems and experiences
  • Work with UX team to develop low fidelity mock-ups of digital concepts that are used for research
  • Work with segment and digital product readiness teams to develop roll-out plans (includes marketing and training)
  • Monetize value from digital investments whenever possible
  • Partner with Segment Leaders and Digital Product, UX and Readiness teams to formulate strategy and develop a product roadmap to secure new profitable, revenue from business opportunities facilitated by the online and mobile channels over the next 12 to 24 months (forward thinking roadmap creation)

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of Five years' experience as Product Management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong preference for Product Management experience focusing in Digital Software Development
  • Degree in Business preferred -- Marketing, Management, Finance or Information Technology
  • MBA a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to:
    • Work with customers and internal partners on multiple levels and experiences
    • Translate customer business needs into requirements for consumption by technology development partners
    • Motivate others to deliver and support new capability even when they are not directly accountable to the same objectives
    • Assume responsibility for independent thought and action
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Domain Expertise: Online and mobile technology that facilitates daily banking experiences for consumers, wealth and businesses
  • Experience: Business development role within a software development company a plus
  • Disciplined: Sets realistic targets and expectations. Is able to secure consensus and commitment from diverse set of Huntington stakeholders. Able to stay focused
  • Persistent: Finishes what has been started. Maintains positive attitude throughout the journey
  • Entrepreneur: Demonstrated leadership in the Online and/or Mobile space -- experience with software development preferred
  • Team Player/Collaborative: Seeks advice and perspective from customers and key stakeholders prior to declaring direction
