We are transforming the way we do business by changing how we think about the different types of Customer Journeys. Omnichannel (Omni) will provide a consistent experience for our customers, regardless of how they chose to do business with us (online banking, branch locations, ATM's, phone support). The goal of Omni is to align our people, processes, products & services, and technology across our enterprise to deliver new modern capabilities in an Agile and Iterative way.

We are in the beginning stages of building this newly defined Omni program with cross functional team members. This team will lay the foundation for what the Customer Journeys are and how we will deliver exceptional, streamlined experiences for each one. As a Senior Product Manager responsible for the Sales (including Marketing/Originations) strategy aspects of the Omni program you will have a direct responsibility to insure our sales strategy is delivered through the delivery process. In addition the product manager role will own the sales capabilities delivered through the Omni program responsible to ensure ongoing performance and set the ongoing roadmap for these capabilities.

Detailed Description:

  • Establish Omnichannel sales strategy for initial Omni journeys (Consumer Deposit Account Origination, Business Banking Deposit Account Origination, Business Banking Loan Origination, Mortgage/Home Equity Account Origination)
  • Partner with channel and segment leadership to align Omni sales strategy to deliver the most optimal for Huntington as a whole while maximizing each channel
  • Design and bring to market customer-driven products and services that cross our delivery channels
  • Identify market opportunities through customer research and insights
  • Prioritize customer needs and develop product roadmaps to deliver on meeting customer expectations
  • Ensure the delivery of the Sales specific capabilities through the agile delivery process
  • Build products that deliver great customer experiences
  • Manage Risk associated with the above applications and specific application features
  • Conduct competitive analysis
  • Develop Business Scope and Requirements
  • Develop and present business cases to senior management for investment
  • Work with internal Digital /UX team to create User Experience Scenarios (mock-ups) for products
  • Develop Business Plans for products; Partners with marketing teams to create programs that increase market share, retention and profits
  • Work with Systems Vendors, IT, Retail Branches, Marketing and the Customer Service Center to insure proper delivery of online services
  • Act as Project Sponsor for key development initiatives
  • Partner with OMNI data team on service performance and application metrics

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with Product Management or Technology Owner

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Finance or Information Technology
  • MBA Preferred
  • Experience with customer facing sales of Retail or Business Financial Services and/or eCommerce
  • Digital Product Management Experience
  • Ability to translate Business needs to Technology Teams
  • Leadership in the Online and or Mobile space
  • Experience with Desktop and Mobile Web, Mobile Apps, and Alerts
  • User-Centered Design and Usability expertise
  • Self-starter who develops plans and is committed to hitting delivery dates
  • Strong Analytical Skills and familiarity with the Software Delivery Lifecycle
  • Must have excellent written and verbal (face-to-face and phone) communication skills including professional grammar and demeanor
  • Ability to develop working relationships with individuals at all levels of an organization
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
