Job Description

Brief Description:

  • Manage projects supporting migration of legacy customer information system into IBM InfoSphere MDM solution. Coordinate cross-functional teams in support of migration.
  • Manage project(s) from inception to completion including tracking and evaluating teams throughout the project life cycles. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Work with multiple business and project teams consisting of Product Managers, Project Managers, Product Owners and Development leads ensuring estimation, project team sizing and resource loading is aligned with roadmap commitments.
  • Drive project reviews and status meetings, track and communicate project updates at the executive level

Detailed Description:

  • Managing key internal client relationships with project stakeholders including business leads, technical data teams, technical architects, development leads, application leads, etc.
  • Reporting on project progress and interacting with decision-makers at all levels
  • Providing leadership to solve problems within the project teams
  • Prioritizing deliverables managing project scope with the Product Owner and driving decisions to the most favorable outcome for the company
  • Providing timely status updates along with risk assessments and risk mitigation plans
  • Contributing to development of new processes and procedures through interaction with leadership teams and stakeholders
  • Follows all internal project management processes

Basic Qualifications:

  • Min 5 years of experience in managing IT projects
  • Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Qualifications;

  • Ability to work on multiple project teams, all complexity levels, in an environment with changing priorities and objectives
  • Solid understanding of data driven systems a plus
  • An exceptional communicator who can work effectively in a technical environment as well as in a non-technical business user community
  • Capable of working directly with customers and partners on co-development programs
  • Highly organized and able to maintain relationships across the organization
