Special Asset Collections Front End Rep

Detailed Description:


• Manage a portfolio of Front End delinquent and matured Business Banking Loans.
• Manages the collection of a business banking portfolio by making a high number of quality contacts with customers that are past due with their loan payments.
• Utilizes an auto-dialer with CACS collection system to collect on loan accounts
• Identifies remedies for credits in defaults.
• Provides exemplary customer service to maintain client relationships while adhering to the business banking collection policy.
• Identifies deteriorating credits, recommends downgrades and communicates findings to the direct manager and or regional Special Assets Officers, RCOs and Credit Specialists.
• Seek opportunities to improve cash flow of borrowers.
• Skip tracing and credit bureau analysis.
• Participates in team building by pro-active and effective communication.

Basic Qualifications:


• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have at least 1 year of telephone collection experience in a high volume production environment providing excellent customer service.

Preferred Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree
• Experience with Commercial/Business Banking loan.
• Excellent customer service skills
• Previous experience with AFS / CACS / RMS / Velocity / RETS / CARS.
• System skills/capabilities with previous knowledge of Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced collection environment with minimal supervision.
• Ability to utilize and toggle between multiple systems and screens in order to effectively assist Commercial loan clients
• Experience using a dialer
• Ability to multi-task
