Position Description:

The Senior Deposit Product Manager provides daily and strategic product management support for small business deposit products. Candidate must have ability to direct cross-functional teams and act as primary subject matter expert. The candidate will support the objectives of the Bank through effective management of a portfolio of revenue producing products for multiple business segments. Candidate will often be required to direct broad organizational resources, including system support, sales, operations and communications in order to accomplish goals.

Detailed Description:

  • Establish the strategic direction for the small business deposit products (checking, savings, money market, CDs)
  • Manage P&L of small business deposit products to ensure all revenue and expense targets are achieved
  • Analyze and review products and recommend changes to maximize competiveness, customer experience and/or profitability
  • Forecast and monitor all drivers of the business: accounts, households, balances, margin, fee income, expense, etc
  • Formulate and implement new marketing initiatives, new product features, new criteria, new communications programs, or IT projects in order to increase acquisition, retention, profit, or decrease cost
  • Partner with key stakeholders from marketing, sales, branches, technology, payments, collections, and risk in order to ensure mutual goals are achieved
  • Directly or indirectly manage (or lead) a diverse group of marketing, sales and/or product development professionals as well as an administrative and technical staff. Provides bank personnel with information and training necessary to successfully promote and support products. Regularly interfaces with bankers on best practices
  • Maintain an awareness of new trends and developments for the segments supported and deposit product set

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Minimum of 5 years of small business banking deposits experience

Preferred Requirements:

  • Master's Degree preferred
  • Demonstrated P&L management experience
  • Proven analytical ability (data mining, forecasting)
  • Must have the appropriate financial management experience and analytical capability to translate hard data into strategic plans
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly analyze situations and risks, determine paths of action, and execute flawlessly
  • Experience in project planning and management, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent skills with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Candid and concise communication skills
  • Excellent executive-level presentation skills
  • Outstanding leadership skills
  • Must be savvy and passionate about driving results and innovation
