Job Description:

The Corporate Strategy Group within Huntington is responsible for developing and evolving an Enterprise-wide strategic plan as well as leading key strategy projects across the company. We are looking for a talented individual who can support our work on multiple initiatives including (but are not limited to) Strategic Growth, Operations, and Data strategy as well as analyze problems, influence business lines (e.g., Consumer Banking), and provide thought leadership on large complex business initiatives.

Sample description of the work includes:

  • Industry and competitive analysis, consumer research, fact finding and financial analysis to support future strategy
  • Actively monitor the entire banking space with specific focus on areas such as Digital (Online/ Mobile) and FinTech
  • Evaluate strategic options and make recommendations on Enterprise-wide projects
  • Support development of presentations to the Board of Directors and Executive Leadership Team
  • Support development and execution of Strategic Initiatives across the Enterprise

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of strategy work experience, with 3-5 years experience at a consulting firm or in a similar strategic role within a corporation.
  • Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Post graduate degree (undergraduate degree candidates with exceptional consulting experience will also be considered)
  • Strong problem solving, analytical, synthesis, and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with and influence partners across many functions and lines of business
  • Working knowledge of the Financial Services industry
