   Brief Posting Description          

Responsible for contacting specific Huntington Commercial Card customer's suppliers to assist in the conversion of check payment acceptance to virtual card and/or ACH payments.

             Detailed Description
  • Completes outbound Supplier Enablement activities that includes calling and emailing Commercial Card customers' vendors and gaining approval to have future payments sent to vendors via Card or ACH.
  • Responsible for the initial creation of the Huntington supplier enablement team, including procedures, processes, and daily responsibilities.
  • Develops supplier enablement scripting that includes discussion points on the benefits of accepting electronic payments.
  • Partners with Huntington Marketing department to develop Huntington and Customer branded collateral to assist with supplier enablement campaigns.
  • Act as supplier enablement subject matter expert which includes timely responses to questions received via email and/or phone from customers, vendors, and/or internal Huntington colleagues.
  • Partners with each of Huntington's commercial card and integrated payables customers to develop a supplier enablement task plan, administer kickoff and weekly customer calls, create and identify vendor lists for contact, and escalate term negotiations.
  • Manually enrolls vendors on behalf of Huntington's customers that will accept electronic payment.
  • Trains any new Huntington supplier enablement employees.
  • Develops reporting process to provide detailed, weekly updates to Huntington customers and internal Huntington relationship managers on progress of supplier enablement activities.
  • Develops internal reporting on a per customer basis of supplier enablement efforts compared to expected initial spend forecasts.
  • Completes daily administrative activities on behalf of customers, including reaching out to vendors to process cards, card maintenance, and returns.

Job Requirements             

Basic Qualifications

  • Business-related undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
  • Customer Service experience
  • Sales Experience
  • Experience effectively communicating with all levels of employees and management in a Fortune 1000 company environment

Other Traits and Qualifications:

  • General accounting knowledge and strong knowledge of accounts payable process.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal/customer service skills.
  • Excellent time management skills/ability to manage changing priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Organized, methodical and conscientious.
  • Proven capability to exceed delivery targets.
  • Experience in Accounts Payables
  • Commercial Card or Credit Card experience is a plus
