• Manage tax research and Business Segment consulting related to federal and state tax legislation.
• Assist in the development of strategies to meet the challenges of the continuously evolving environments, including legislation and regulatory developments, as well as the changing requirements of each Business Segment.

This position will report to the Director of Corporate Tax and is a full time positon located in Downtown Columbus.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Technical Tax and Accounting skills.
• Strategically assess, recommend and implement federal and state tax legislation.
• Building relationships and partnering with Business Segment stakeholders.
• Excellent communication abilities including verbal, written and presentation including the ability to present complex tax subjects to Senior Management.
• Collaborative and result oriented leadership style with experience developing strategic initiatives with the organizations business objectives.
• Consult, coordinate, and manage outside advisors as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Masters in Taxation and/or CPA.
• Minimum of 15 years of corporate tax experience in a corporate tax department or accounting firm.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical Tax and Accounting skills
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to build relationships with all levels within the organization.
• Excellent ability to communicate with members at all levels throughout the organization and outside professionals.
• Broad thinker with an interest and ability to develop and deliver views on operations, tax positions, and process improvements
• Innovative, calculated participatory decision maker.
