Job Description

The Treasury Management Customer Product & Technical Training Specialist (TMPTT) guides and directs the technical implementation of Treasury Management tools and systems for customers to support the applicable Treasury Management products. This individual evaluates customer needs and independently determines what tools are best suited for them, and cross-sell products as needed. The TMPTT facilitates training on Huntington's products, services and systems for both external customers and internal colleagues. Provides advanced technical advice to the Regional Service and Onboarding team and sales colleagues to resolve product or service requests regarding system and technical issues at the user level. Coordinates the resolution of technical issues with the operations / technology group. Maintains an in-depth knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the Treasury Management segment. Responsible for focus and awareness of identifying, assessing and managing risk and adhering to policy and procedure acknowledgements.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Assists with the resolution of technical issues working with the operations / technology group for resolution.
  • May act as liaison between vendors and process/system users or between users and other corporate areas.
  • Advises customers on various direct and/or on-line file transmissions that are available, including file formatting, data mapping, performs testing, communicates results, assist with any issues to ensure successful transmissions.
  • Guides and directs the technical implementation of Treasury Management tools and systems for customers to utilize the applicable Treasury Management products. Support provided includes, but is not limited to: web browser troubleshooting, operating system interaction with Bank application, and troubleshooting Bank application-specific issues to resolution.
  • Advise, educate and engage customers on a variety of technological tools and resources available to them.
  • Assist with various duties to back up other team's job duties within the department.
  • Experienced colleague may need to train new colleague

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachlors' degree with a minimum of one (1) year of banking experience with a focus on treasury management/cash management, or commercial products
  • Three (3) years rof elated experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for four-year degree.
