Brief Description

Manages a team of Service Specialists for specific region(s) of Wealth & Investments and supervises the daily activities for a functional area. Provides first line sales and service support for The Private Bank customers through partnering with Region Manager and/or Relationship Managers, Client Advisors and Portfolio Managers.

Detailed Description

  • Works directly with Region Manager and National Practice Lead to ensure that their area is adequately staffed and that all personnel are trained. Responsible for cultivating an environment of teamwork, collaboration and exceptional customer service.
  • Reviews and recommends new methods and procedures to make the area more efficient.
  • Plans and schedules the activities within the area of responsibility and coordinates activities with other areas as required.
  • Resolves the more complex working problems.
  • Prepares, maintains and/or monitors reports in compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensures quality of service level is maintained.
  • Maintains up to date knowledge and trains others on products, services, departmental systems and related technology, policies and procedures. Responsible for focus and awareness of identifying, assessing and managing risk and adhering to policy and procedure acknowledgements. Participate in identifying issues of concern and keeping department management informed as needed.
  • Will provide Service Specialist support to one or more Relationship Manager, Client Advisor and/or Portfolio Manager.

Job Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED
  • 5 or more years experience

  • Bachelor degree preferred
  • Minimal travel may be required for training, colleague and customer meetings.
  • Microsoft Suite Proficient
  • Very strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment with deadlines
  • Is able to work independently
  • Excellent in customer service, highly motivated, focused and goal oriented.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional grammar and demeanor.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, planning and follow-up.
