This Web Content Specialist will join a growing digital marketing team that is responsible for managing Huntington's content management efforts including our new responsive website,, and all marketing and transactional email programs. The Web Content Specialist will also be responsible for consistency with site vision and style guide, while developing understanding of strategies to help keep content fresh and dynamic. This person will work with marketing managers, technical staff, and vendors to execute initiatives. Responsibilities also include ensuring the structure and usability of the website remains simplistic and efficient.
Detailed Description:

• Create, update, and maintain Responsive Web content in content management system (Sitecore), monitor (quality control) content on live site and trouble shoot or escalate. Serve as liaison with Marketing, Compliance, Product and technology groups.
• Help develop monthly process for content reviews and audits with Marketing Managers; ensure all pages are reviewed on schedule and are compliant. Produce and maintain accurate reports of upcoming and historic changes.
• Implement and schedule Web promotions, email campaigns, and track results.
• Set up email automation and drip campaign management.
• Email design/deliverability best practices and work with vendors to drive improved delivery
• Conduct QA testing, follow-up to resolve issues, and load finished material into content management system. (set-up, test and activate)
• Provide digital graphic production art support using Photoshop.
• Ensure that digital marketing materials comply with all brand and style guidelines (web) and that bank and regulatory standards are adhered to.

Basic Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years relevant Web content management and design experience - in Sitecore or similar content management system (i.e. Merchandising, A/B MVT Testing & Personalization)
• Bachelor's degree required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Excellent written and verbal communication, including strong editing, grammar, and proof reading skills; good listener.
• Experience in SEO optimization is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, with some project management experience. Keep track of multiple projects and progress of others on team. Creates action plans to finish projects on time and on budget.
• Possess critical thinking, analytical, and creative talent to develop a concept, idea, fact or content into a strong visual presentation that maximizes communications / sales effectiveness.
• Problem solving and follow-through.
• Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, product management / segment management, Web producers / developers / architects.
• Ability to interact with senior management. Ability to work independently. Team player who also demonstrates leadership skills in a matrix managed organization.
• Knowledge of HTML, CMS (Sitecore experience preferred), Exact Target (Salesforce Marketing Cloud), Ensighten Tag Management, Adobe Sitecatalyst and Photoshop, and MS Office. CSS, JavaScript, Flash, and Dreamweaver knowledge a plus.
